Description of Aubrey
Adapted from a reference photograph of Aubrey Beardsley, leading English illustrator of the 1890s, whose stunning black and white illustrations made him an outstanding figure in the Art Nouveau movement. He was an eccentric but elegant figure, seldom seen without his yellow kid gloves, and died tragically from tuberculosis at the age of 25.
